Shakers are a very important part of the timbre layers we use in our drumming circles. More appropriately, these are percussion circles because we use a variety of different instruments.
Fruit Shakers
A favorite among the participants in Play On The Drum drumming circles, Remo has created a line of shakers with a great sound in fun shapes and sizes. Our personal favorite is the kumquat!
Maracas, Tube Shakers, and Egg Shakers
We also have a variety of other shakers including Latin maracas, tube shakers, and Egg Shakers, each offer a different pitch and tonal quality making for a really big, rich sound!
